2006 BMW 330XI
This is the most
recent addition to the stable. It is an all-wheel
drive sedan with a
3.0L engine and automatic transmission. I
bought it used, around the middle of 2008 with
22,000 miles on it.
I found it
interesting that there is some controversy about what
the BMW logo
represents.
Some say
the blue & white colors in
the BMW symbol
represent a spinning airplane propeller, however,
BMW spokespeople
have denied this. There is an interesting
1988 35th Anniversary Corvette
In 1988, to
celebrate 35 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, this special
edition was
produced. I own car #1600 of
only 2,050 anniversary
models built. All were white with black & white
interiors.
Powered by a 5.7L
(245 HP) engine, it accelerates from
0-60 MPH (100KMH) in just 5.7 seconds. This one has an automatic
transmission, and top speed is rated at nearly 160
MPH (260 KMH)!
