Allen Creek Trout Farm is located in Oxford Wisconsin, Marquette County which is centrally located on the edge of the Glacier Retreat, 20 miles east of the beautiful Wisconsin Dells. Allen Creek Trout Farm, developed by Terry Romeo in 1984, has 5 artesian wells producing 1,200 gallons per minute of pure artesian water.

All smoked trout have been fed natural foods in pure free-flowing artesian water.

This water dates back to 12,000 years ago when glaciers covered what is now Wisconsin. As they retreated northward, the pure meltwater filled the glacier eskers and outwash sands on the south edge of the glacier fronts. This water was exceptionally pure, and it is not surprising now, 12,000 years later this purity is preserved underground. There is no better water anywhere in America.

Terry raises his rainbow trout from the egg in this pure 50 degree artesian water and feeds them an all natural diet. Freshness and quality are his motto. All fish are sold at their prime weight of 1 to 1 1/2 pounds when their delicately-flavored flesh is a firm, rich red-orange color. The hickory, cold-smoked rainbow trout are brined in all natural ingredients; pure water, sugar cane, maple syrup, salt, and no chemicals!
